We are currently looking for an experienced Technical Writer to work hand in
hand with our development team. If you are a tech person with a rare skill of
putting the binary world into words, or a writer with a deep understanding of
what lies below the GUI level, then go for it & apply!
Your responsibilities
- Writing, editing, and reviewing our technical documentation (API documentation, blog, guides, posts and release notes of technical nature).
- Close cooperation with the development team and key stakeholders.
- Reviewing the work of external technical writers and assuring consistency with standards and guidelines.
- Co-creation of Buddy related tech content in various media platforms.
- Assuring maximum usability, consistency and cohesiveness of all Buddy related data.
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of English (min. C1, verbal and written).
- 3 years of work experience as a technical writer, or as an actively writing (e.g. blog, Medium posts) software engineer.
- Knowledge of CI/CD domain and SaaS business.
- Experience with reading source code written in modern programming languages (e.g. JavaScript and related frameworks, Java, PHP, Python).
- Knowledge of Git and Markdown.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Docker.
- Knowledge of SEO to properly optimize documentation.
- Basic programming skills in any of modern programming languages.
- Basic video editing skills to record the video tutorials based on the documentation.
